Traditional Chicken Recipe
Traditional Chicken has a unique taste. The mix of mushrooms and chicken breast enhance the taste of Traditional Chicken. Traditional Chicken is a must try for Chicken Fans.
Ingredients
6 chicken breasts
1/4 cup flour
6 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper
5 cups chicken broth, heated
20 small onions, blanched, drained
1/4 tsp basil
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp chervil
1 bay leaf
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
8 oz mushrooms
2 egg yolks, beaten
1/3 cup heavy cream
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
In a saucepan filled with cold water, boil chicken 5 minutes.
Drain.
Pat dry.
Dredge chicken with flour.
In a casserole dish, heat oil.
Sear chicken all over.
Season with salt and pepper.
Cook in oven 10 minutes.
Add broth, onions, mixed herbs and parsley.
Cover.
Cook in oven 1 hour.
Halfway through cooking, add mushrooms.
In a bowl, beat together egg yolks and cream.
Set aside.
Remove chicken from casserole dish.
Fold egg mixture into cooking juices.
Heat through without boiling.
Pour over chicken.
