Tostadas Compuestas Recipe

| 2 cups Frijoles Refritos | ||
| Several dashes of hot-pepper sauce | ||
| 3 scallions, sliced salt | ||
| 6 corn tortillas, fried crisp and left flat | ||
| Monterey jack cheese | 6 Ounce, cut into strips | |
| 1 medium-size avocado, sliced into thin strips | ||
| Shredded sharp Cheddar cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Salad Mixture) | |
| Salsa Verde | ||
Directions
1 Prepare meat sauce and keep warm. Combine the beans with hot-pepper sauce and the chopped scallions. Add salt to taste.
2 Place a crisp-fried tortilla on each of 6 pottery plates. Spread some bean mixture on each and top with strips of Jack cheese, evenly dividing each ingredient. Preheat oven to 350°F.
3 Top the bean mixture with the meat sauce and heat for 30 minutes.
