Stir in garlic salt.
Place com chips in 8x8x2-inch baking dish or 8x11/2-inch round baking dish.
Spoon hot meat over corn chips; top with cheese slices.
Bake, uncovered, in 350Â° oven for 10 to 12 minutes or till heated through and cheese is melted.
Sprinkle casserole with shredded lettuce; spoon on homemade taco sauce.
Homemade taco sauce:
In mixing bowl stir together one 16-ounce can stewed tomatoes, undrained; 1 teaspoon sugar; 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed; 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce; 1/4 teaspoon salt; 1/4 teaspoon bottled hot pepper sauce; and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
Using the edge of a spoon, break up large tomato pieces.
Stir in 1/4 cup chopped onion and 1/4 cup chopped green pepper.
