Tortino Of Artichokes Recipe
Ingredients
4 artichoke hearts, drained and dried on paper towel
1 tbsp. lemon juice flour for dredging
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. oil
4 eggs
1/4 cup steamed soy sprouts, ground
Salt to taste
Freshly-ground pepper
2 tbsp. Milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Slice artichoke hearts thin, vertically.
Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Roll in flour.
Heat butter and oil in heavy ovenproof skillet.
Cook artichokes slowly in butter until golden, turning frequently.
Beat eggs, soy sprouts, salt, pepper and milk together with fork.
Pour over artichokes and place in oven.
Cook for 5-10 minutes until eggs are set but not dry.
