Tortilla Sandwiches Recipe
Ingredients
12 corn tortillas
Salad oil
6 slices Monterey Jack cheese
Directions
1. Fry tortillas in small amount of hot oil on range until limp. Fold in half and hold slightly open with tongs; continue to fry until crisp, turning to fry on both sides. Drain on paper towel.
2. Place 1/2 slice cheese in each tortilla. Arrange tortillas in shallow glass dish in microwave and cook 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, rotating dish one-quarter turn halfway through cooking time.
