Tomatoes With Basil Cream Recipe
Ingredients
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm) | |
| Philadelphia cream cheese | 1 Can (10oz), pasteurized | |
| White wine vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Basil | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Chopped parsley | 2 Tablespoon, divided | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Red tomatoes | 2 , thinly sliced | |
| 2 yellow tomatoes, thinly sliced | ||
Directions
Place garlic in blender or food processor container; cover.
Process until finely chopped.
Add cream cheese product, vinegar, basil, 1 tablespoon parsley, salt and pepper; blend until smooth.
Arrange tomatoes on serving platter.
Spoon cream cheese mixture over tomatoes.
Sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon parsley.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.
