Tomato Shorba Recipe

Ingredients
500 gm tomatoes
20 gm pepper corns
2 cloves
1 bunch of coriander and mint leaves each(opt.)
20 gm dry methi
salt to taste
1 sm lemon
1/2 tsp sugar
Directions
Point1- Cut the tomatoes into big pieces.
Point2- Add 3 glasses of water,salt,pepper corns, cloves,mint, cilantro and dry fenugreek leaves and boil for 30 minutes
Point3- Remove from heat and seive the ingredients. To this ,add sugar,lemon juice,few coriender leaves and serve hot.

I wondered as well about the tomato shorba being so red. When I make it using fresh tomatoes it is never so beautiful and bright red colour. I have made this using yellow tomatoes also such fun to use the rainbow of colours of tomatoes-white, orange, red, pink, black, green, purple, stripped, etc.
