Thyme Tomato Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
2 chopped sticks celery
2 sliced shallots
1 quartered garlic clove
2 tbsp olive oil
1 lb ripe tomatoes
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1 bayleaf
Salt
Pepper
Directions
Put the celery, shallots and garlic in a small casserole.
Pour the oil over.
Cover and microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes.
Skin the tomatoes (first plunging them into boiling water for 10 seconds), remove the seeds and chop into large pieces.
Add to the casserole with the thyme and bayleaf.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Stir well.
Cover and microwave on HIGH for 10 minutes.
Remove the bayleaf, then puree the other ingredients in a food processor.
Taste and adjust seasoning.
