Tomato Chutney Recipe
Tomato Chutney has a Luscious taste.The Sugar and julienne ginger gives the Tomato Chutney Magnificent taste.
Ingredients
4 tsp oil
1 tsp kalonji seeds
1 cup hopped onion
6 cup loves crushed garlic
2 tsp thinly julienne ginger
1 kg chopped tomatoes
500 gms sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp glacial acetic acid
A big pinch of sodium benzoate
Directions
Heat oil.
Add kalonji, onion, garlic and ginger.
When onions turn golden, add tomatoes.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until it thickens.
Add sugar, salt, gararn masala and chilli powder.
Cook, further stirring, until sugar melts, then stir occasionally until it thickens and no water remains.
Add glacial acetic acid.
Mix sodium benzoate in a tsp of water and stir it in the chutney.
Fill into sterilised jars and put on the lid when cold.
