Tomato Cheese Pizza Recipe
I have perfected this wonderful Tomato Cheese Pizza recipe in no time. Whenever I have Italian friends visiting, I always prepare Tomato Cheese Pizza which is the most savored dish of their cuisine. You can serve Tomato Cheese Pizza as a yummy Main Dish. There is no bigger sin than reading this recipe of Tomato Cheese Pizza and not trying it out.
Ingredients
200 gms. flour
1 Tsp. dry yeast
2 Tsp. sugar
1/2 Cup warm milk
1 Egg or 2 tbl. sp. fat
1/2 Kg. tomatoes
1/4 Kg. onions
1/2 Tsp. pepper
50 gms. cheese
2 Capsicums or 100 gms peas (green)
Salt to taste.
Directions
Sieve flour and salt into a bowl and put in a warm place.
D Mix yeast and sugar in warm milk and stir until creamy.
Keep aside for 5 minutes.
Rub fat to flour and mix in yeast mixture.
Stir in eggs and knead throughly.
Cover and put in a warm place until it rises to double the size.
Skin the tomatoes.
Cook chopped onions and season well.
Add tomatoes and capsicums, cook for 5 mins.
Knead risen dough for 3 mins.
Work into large flat circlesabout 1" in depth and 5" to 6" in diameter.
Arrange on greased baking tins and bake for 5 mins.
Drain off any excess liquid from the tomato mixture and spoon the mixture over the circle.
Spread the creamed cheese and bake for 40 mins.
