Tomato Cheese Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients
2 c.sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. shortening
1 c.grated American cheese
3 tbsp.chopped parsley or dry parsley flakes
3/4 c. tomato juice
Directions
Sift flour, baking powder and salt; cut in shor tening.
Add cheese andparsley; mix well.
Add tomato juice.
Knead lightly on floured board for 30 seconds.
Roll l/2 inch thick; cut.
Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
