Ingredients

 
3 tomatoes, chopped
 
6 basil leaves, thinly sliced
 
2 tbs of shredded parmesan cheese
 
4 tbs of extra virgin olive oil
 
32 slices (1/4 inch) baguette
 
1 head of garlic, roasted (optional)

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.

2. Cut French Baguette in 1/3 inch slices and place on a baking sheet and drizzle the bread with Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil and season with salt. For extra flavor, rub the slices with roasted garlic.

3. Toast for about 15 minutes or until golden in the oven.

4. Chop tomatoes and slice basil leaves.

5. Layer each piece of toast with tomato, basil and shredded parmesan cheese drizzle with more Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil and serve immediately.
