Tomato-Avocado Dip Recipe
Thr tomato avocado dip is a fresh and savory dip made with avocado and tomato base. Prepped up with crumbled bacon, cheese, lemon juice and hot pepper sauce to make it spicy, the tomato avocado dip goes great with vegetables as well as crackers or chips.
Ingredients
2 slices bacon
1 large avocado, halved, seeded, and peeled
1 medium tomato, peeled, seeded, and finely chopped
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesancheese
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Dash bottled hot pepper sauce
1 tablespoon milk (optional)
Assorted vegetable dippers
Directions
In a small skillet cook bacon till crisp.
Drain well.
Crumble bacon and set aside.
In a medium bowl mash avocado.
Stir in tomato, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, green onion lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, and reserved bacon.
Add milk to thin the consistency of the dip, if desired.
Transfer mixture to a serving bowl.
Cover and chill.
Serve with vegetable dippers.
