Tomato Topping Glaze Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1 Large, chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Tomato sauce | 2 Can (10oz) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cider vinegar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Corn syrup | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Celery leaves | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped | |
| Basil leaf | 1 Teaspoon, crumbled |
Directions
MAKING
1. In a medium-size saucepan, melt butter or margarine. Saute onion until soft.
2. Stir in tomato sauce, cider vinegar, corn syrup, celery stalk and leaves and basil.
3. Allow it to simmer for 15 minutes to blend flavors.
SERVING
4. Use as needed.
