Ingredients

 Tomatoes2 Pound (Or 1 Large Tin)
 Celery stick1
 Garlic1 Clove (5 gm), crushed with salt
 Salt1⁄2 Teaspoon
 Bay leaf1⁄2
 Lemon thyme sprig1⁄2
 Marjoram sprig1⁄2
 Parsley sprigs1⁄2
 Butter1⁄2 Ounce
 Freshly ground black pepper To Taste

Directions

MAKING
1. In a pan melt butter and fry crushed garlic for 2 mins.
2. Add chopped tomatoes and garlic to it.
3. Mix the herbs and seasoning.
4. Stir and cook slowly for 1 1/4 hrs.
5. Let cool and sieve the sauce or pass through a mouli. It should be thick and dark red.

SERVING
6. Reheat the puree before serving.
