|Thyme leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), crushed|
|Canned tomatoes||56 Ounce (1 Can, In Tomato Puree)|
|Canned beef broth||21 Ounce (2 Can)|

Add the onions, celery and carrots and cook until onions are tender.
Stir in remaining ingredients and 2 cups water and simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally and adding water, if needed.
Press through a sieve or force through a food mill.
Add enough water to make 6 cups sauce.
