Tomato Rabbit Recipe
Ingredients
4 tablespoons butter
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup chopped green pepper
1/3 cup chopped celery
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
2 cups shredded American or Cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 cup canned tomatoes
4 English muffins, split and toasted
Directions
Heat butter in blazer pan over moderate heat.
Add onion, green pepper and celery and cook and stir until tender but not browned.
Stir in flour and let bubble.
Place pan over hot water in water pan and slowly stir in milk.
Cook until mixture is thickened, stirring occasionally.
Add cheese and seasonings and stir until cheese is melted.
Add tomatoes and cook and stir until heated.
