Tomato Puree Sauce Recipe
Ingredients

| Tomato sauce | 1 Can (10 oz) | |
| Onion | 1 Small, chopped very fine | |
| Canned tomatoes | 11 Ounce (No 1 Can) | |
| Stalk celery | 1 , chopped very fine | |
| Bay leaf | 1 | |
| Carrot | 1 , chopped very fine | |
| Whole parsley | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Butter | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Thyme | 1 Pinch | |
| Whole allspice | 6 | |
| Cloves | 6 | |
| Tabasco sauce | 1 Dash |
Directions
Place a hambone in a small pan with the chopped onion, celery, carrot, and parsley leaves.
Saute with 4 tablespoons butter until the onion is limp and golden, and stir in a bit of flour (about 1 tablespoon); add the tomato sauce and tomatoes.
Drop in the bay leaf, thyme, allspice, cloves, a dash of Tabasco Sauce, and sugar.
Simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.
Strain before serving.
