Tomato Ketchup Recipe
You can now make your own tomato ketchup at home. You can enjoy your home made French fries, burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches even more with this delicious tomato ketchup recipe. It's easy!
Ingredients
1 lb (1/2 kilo) ripe tomatoes
3 teaspoonsful Tarragon vinegar
3 tablespoonsful raw cane sugar
2 pinches each of cinnamon, cayenne pepper, sea salt, ground mace and allspice
Directions
Put the tomatoes into a pan, after slicing.
Add a little water if required and cook for about 3 or 4 minutes, while stirring.
Allow to cool and liquidize.
Return to pan and add sugar and spices.
Stir well.
Bring to the boil and simmer until it has reduced to a thick sauce.
Allow to grow cold and put into a sauce bottle or jar.
Use as required.
Best stored in the fridge.
