Ingredients

 6 medium-size tomatoes, peeled and finely chopped
 Green chiles1/2 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced
 Onion1/3 Cup (16 tbs), minced
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Minced canned jalapeno chiles (or other hot chiles)

Directions

Mix tomatoes with green chiles, onion, salt, and jalapeno chiles to taste (about 1 jalapeno to each cup of sauce will make it noticeably hot).
Makes about 3 cups.
