Tomato Beef Fried Rice Recipe
Ingredients
| Ketchup | 3 Tablespoon (Sauce) | |
| Soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon (Sauce) | |
| Sesame oil | 2 Teaspoon (Sauce) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon (Sauce) | |
| Vegetable oil | 2 Tablespoon (Sauce) | |
| Lean ground beef | 1/2 pound (Sauce) | |
| Onion | 1 Small, chopped (Sauce) | |
| 2 green onions (including tops), thinly sliced | ||
| 4 cups cooked long-grain rice | ||
| 1 medium tomato, peeled, seeded, and chopped | ||
| Frozen peas | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), thawed (Sauce) | |
| 2 eggs, lightly beaten | ||
Directions
Combine sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
Place a wide frying pan with a nonstick finish over high heat until hot.
Add oil, swirling to coat surface.
Add beef and stir-fry for 1 minute.
Add onion and green onions and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
Reduce heat to medium and stir in rice, separating grains with the back of a spoon.
Add tomato, peas, and eggs and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
Add sauce and cook, stirring, until heated through.
