Tomato Basil Butter Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 4 Tablespoon, softened | |
| Chopped tomatoes | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), peeled | |
| Sugar | 1 /2 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Black pepper salt | 1 To taste | |
| Basil | 1/2 Teaspoon, finely chopped |
Directions
Melt 1 tablespoon butter in small skillet. Add tomatoes, sugar and garlic. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until liquid evaporates and mixture thickens. Remove pan from heat; stir in remaining butter until mixture has a saucelike consistency. Season to taste with salt and pepper, then stir in basil.
