Tomato And French Bean Salad is onr of the best vegetable salads I have had. Idiscovered this yummy salad from my mothers recipe book. Here is my version with a few alterations. I am sure you will love the Tomato And French Bean Salad!
Ingredients
| 1 lb. tomatoes, very thinly sliced and seeded | ||
| 1 lb. French beans, trimmed, cooked and drained | ||
| Wine vinegar | 3 Tablespoon (DRESSING) | |
| Olive oil | 6 Tablespoon (DRESSING) | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon (DRESSING) | |
| Ground black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon (DRESSING) | |
| 1/2 teaspoon prepared French mustard | ||
| Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon (DRESSING) | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), crushed (DRESSING) | |
Directions
Place all the dressing ingredients in a screw top jar and shake vigorously until they are well mixed.
Set the dressing aside.
Place the tomatoes and beans in a large serving dish and pour over the dressing.
Using two large spoons, toss the salad until the vegetables are thoroughly coated with the dressing.
Chill the salad in the refrigerator before serving.
