Tofu With East Asian Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Tofu - 2 blocks | ||
| Peanut butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Sesame oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Shoyu | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Rice vinegar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Chili Sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Sherry | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Hoisin sauce - 1 tsp. | ||
| Plum sauce - 2 tsps. | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Slice each block of tofu into 8 pieces.
MAKING
2) Arrange tofu in a heat-proof dish and steam vigorously for 10 minutes.
3) In a small saucepan, over gentle heat, heat all other ingredients for about 2 minutes, stirring continuously.
4) Spoon the hot sauce evenly over the tofu.
SERVING
5) Serve hot over rice or noodles.
