Tofu In Puff Pastry Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Milk | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 , minced | |
| Mushrooms | 6 , chopped | |
| Green peas | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), drained | |
| 6 pastry shells | ||
| Onion powder | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Pinch of garlic powder | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Pinch | |
| Tofu | 6 Ounce, crumbled | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
In a saucepan, melt 3 tbsp (45 mL) butter.
Fold in flour, mixing well.
While stirring, cook 2 minutes.
Add milk.
Stir until sauce thickens.
In a skillet, melt 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter.
Lightly cook onion, mushrooms and green peas.
Meanwhile, heat pastry shells in oven.
Add vegetables to white sauce.
Season with onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Add tofu.
Remove pastry shells from oven.
Spoon tofu mixture into shells.
