Tofu Croquette Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground pork | 2 Ounce | |
| Green onions | 2 , minced | |
| Carrots | 2 Ounce, grated | |
| Vegetable oil | 1 Tablespoon (For frying) | |
| 1 cake (10 oz / 300 g) firm tofu, drained | ||
| Egg | 1 | |
| Breadcrumbs | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Soy sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
| Flour | 6 Tablespoon (Coating:) | |
| Egg | 1 , beaten (Coating:) | |
| Breadcrumbs | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Coating:) | |
| Vegetable oil | 2 Cup (16 tbs) (Coating:) | |
| Ketchup | 3 Tablespoon (Sauce:) | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 2 Tablespoon (Sauce:) | |
| Water | 2 Tablespoon (Sauce:) | |
| 2 small red radishes, washed, with sprouts | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) In a skillet, saute the ground pork, green onions, and carrots gently in oil.
2) In a large mixing bowl, add the skillet ingredients, drained tofu, egg, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, salt and pepper; blend well and shape into 8 patties; dust the patties with the flour, dip in beaten eggs and coat with breadcrumbs
3) In a suitable skillet with sufficient oil, deep fry the patties at 340 Deg F until the croquettes are crisp and golden; drain excess oil.
FINALIZING
4) In a bowl, add the ingredients for the sauce, blend well and drizzle over croquettes.
SERVING
5) Garnish with radishes and serve on a nice dish.
