Toffee Nut Bubbles Recipe
Ingredients
| 100 g/4 oz butter or margarine | ||
| Condensed milk | 1/2 Can (10oz) | |
| Golden syrup | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 50 g/2 oz Brazil nuts, roughly chopped | ||
| 50 g/2 oz Rice Krispies | ||
Directions
Lightly grease a 23 x 15 cm/9 x 6 in shallow tin.
Melt the fat, condensed milk and syrup in a saucepan over a low heat.
Bring to the boil and boil steadily for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
Remove from the heat and stir in the Brazil nuts and cereal.
Press the mixture into the prepared tin and level the surface with the back of a metal spoon.
Chill in the refrigerator until firm, then mark and cut into squares.
