Ingredients

 
100 grams (4 oz.) soft cooking cheese
 
3 tablespoons butter, melted butter
 
1 small fresh loaf bread (unsliced)

Directions

Cream the cheese and 3 tablespoons of butter together until very soft.
Remove the crust from all sides of the bread loaf and cut the bread lengthwise into thin slices.
Place the slices on a damp cloth and spread some of the cheese mixture on each slice.
Roll as tightly as possible. Fasten with toothpicks.
Put the rolls in a plastic bag and chill in the freezer compartment of a refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
Brush each roll with melted butter. Toast in a hot oven at 400°F. for 10 to 15 minutes until crisp. Serve hot.
