Ingredients

 Bread pieces12 , thinly sliced
 Tomatoes500 Gram, chopped
 Onion3 , finely chopped
 Coriander leaves, finely chopped, 1 bunch
 Green chillies, finely chopped, 4 to 6
 Ginger, finely chopped, 1 small piece
 Garlic, crushed, 6 to 8 cloves
 Butter or ghee, 2 to 3 tablespoons
 Tomato ketchup2 Tablespoon
 Cornflour, 2 to 3 tablespoons
 Cheese, grated, 8 to 10 tablespoons
 Cashewnuts3 Tablespoon, grated
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Remove crusts from bread.
Place between a damp towel, leave for one hour.
Before filling, press each slice gently with a rolling pin.
Heat ghee in a pan and fry onion.
Cook till light brown.
Add chillies, ginger, garlic and coriander.
Cook for a while and add tomatoes.
Cook for 5 to 10 minutes more.
Blend together cornflour with 2 tablespoons milk and add to cooked mixture.
Add rest of the ingredients and continue cooking for a minute more.
Place 2 teaspoonful of filling on each slice of bread and roll.
Fasten with a toothpick.
Place the rools on a greased baking sheet, brush with melted butter and bake in hot oven (220° C) till rolls are toasted properly.
