Toasted Pound Cake Recipe
Ingredients
1 fresh or frozen pound cake (10 3/4 oz.), cut in 1 inch thick slices
2 cups sliced fruit
Whipped or sour cream (optional)
Directions
Place pound cake slices in a hinged wire broiler; or, place slices on lightly greased grill 4 to 6 inches above a solid bed of low-glowing coals.
Toast, turning often, just until brown (about 1 or 2 minutes on each side).
