Toasted Fish Filled Noodles Recipe
Ingredients
| Won ton noodles | ||
| Chinese Fish Paste | ||
| Chopped green onions | ||
| Sesame oil | ||
Directions
Using won ton noodles, place 1 teaspoon fish paste on half of each noodle.
Wet two adjoining edges of the square noodle and fold the two remaining edges over onto the wet edges.
You now have a sealed triangle-shaped stuffed noodle.
When sealing, be sure to work out the air in the noodle gently, or it will expand when heated.
Place in a steamer and steam for 15 minutes.
Cool.
When the noodles are ready to serve, brush them with a bit of sesame oil, and place them under a hot broiler until toasty brown and somewhat puffy.
You may wish to turn them and broil them on both sides.
This is a delicious hors d'oeuvre.
If you wish to freeze it, do so prior to browning.
Wrap well.
