Toasted Amaranth Rolls Recipe
I have been making Toasted Amaranth Rolls since childhood. This version of Toasted Amaranth Rolls is very easy. A good one to make!

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups (355 ml) lukewarm water
1 1/2 tbs (25 ml) Unrefined Vegetable Oil
3 tbs (45 ml) honey or maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp (8 ml) sea salt, optional
1 1/2 tsp (8 ml) active dry yeast
1 cup (240 ml) Amaranth Flour
2 1/4 cups (540 ml) Whole Wheat Flour soft butter, optional honey, optional cinnamon, optional chopped nuts, optional raisins, optional dried lemon peel, optional toasted amaranth seeds, optional
Directions
Mix first 5 ingredients together, then stir in flours.
Roll dough onto a lightly floured surface, about 1/4-inch thick.
Brush with butter and sprinkle with remaining ingredients, except amaranth seeds.
Toast seeds in a dry skillet until lightly browned.
Roll up dough and slice 2 inches thick.
Place on sides, close together in an oiled pan.
Sprinkle with amaranth seeds and bake at 350°F (180°C) for 30-40 minutes.
