Tivoli Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 3 x 12 oz cans pork and ham, thickly sliced, or equivalent in thickly sliced cooked ham, cut into small cubes | ||
| 12 oz Samsoe cheese, cut into small cubes | ||
| 1 x 16 oz (approx) can sweetcorn kernels, drained | ||
| 1 1/2 tablespoons peeled and finely chopped onion | ||
| 1 large crisp lettuce, separated into leaves | ||
| Snipped fresh chives to garnish | ||
| Mayonnaise | 6 Tablespoon (For the dressing:) | |
| Cream | 3 Tablespoon (For the dressing:) | |
| Lemon juice | 3 Tablespoon (For the dressing:) | |
| black pepper | 1 (For the dressing:) | |
Directions
Mix together the meat, cheese, sweetcorn and onion. Combine the mayonnaise and cream with lemon juice to sharpen. Season with pepper. Fold the mayonnaise dressing through the meat and cheese. Arrange a bed of lettuce on a dish and pile the meat and cheese mixture on top. Garnish with chives.
