Been out of ifood.tv for quite some time now. If you are still looking, you can now find it in Kroger - in the deli section.

Excellent recipe Neha. Thanks for introducing me to this home-made Tiramisu recipe. I tried the fat free version. No difference taste wise but the whipping cream was a little flat.

Lady Fingers are very common cookie item. I am surprised such as Kroeger market doesn't carry them.In Italian they are called Savoiardi in Italian, but they are originally French and not so difficult to make. Stella d'Oro lady fingers are often merchandised with the cookies. Even Trader Joe's carries them sometimes. Good luck on finding them. I know Columbus has many Germans, but perhaps an Italian Market is carrying them. There is a Trader Joe's at 3888 Townsfair Way Columbus, OH 43219 Phone: ( 614) 473-0794 Trading Hours: 9 am - 9 pm or Caprianno's Italian Market 6500 Riverside Dr Dublin, OH 43017 (614) 761-1266‎ Carfagnia's: 1405 E Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus 43229; (614) 846-6340 Auddino's Italian Bakery: 1490 Clara Ave, Columbus 43211; (614) 294-2577 Tedeschi's Italian Bakery: 6536 Proprietors Rd, Worthington 43085; (614) 846-5060 Caprianno's Italian Market: 6500 Riverside Dr, Dublin 43017; (614) 761-1266 Bellasari's Italian Market: 855 Grandview Ave, Columbus 43215; (614) 487-8530 Shanti/Mary-Anne

Kroger's definitely does carry Lady Fingers. My friend told me when she gave me the betty crocker recipe for lady fingers. I went there and could not find them anywhere and I checked on 2 different occassions. I finally asked a man stocking the shelves, on my third visit to Kroger. He said absolutely they had lady fingers and that they could be found in the freezer section. I went there and still could not find them. They were not with the pies, cakes, pastries, pound cakes, etc, so I went back to him and he walked me over to where they were. Sure enough, they were right in the freezer case on the opposite side of the aisle from the frozen dessert. The one in Tupelo, MS has lady fingers in the same freezer case as the ice cream, but on the opposite end of that case. At this Kroger location that freezer case sits across the aisle from frozen desserts, cakes and pies. You might want to look again abd if you still can't find them, I'm sure that a friendly staff member can lead you directly to them.

Snigdha.... Wish I could find Lady Fingers here in Columbus, IN.. Could never find one in Walmart/Kroger... Is there a special store where I can find one.. (say Italian Grocery?) Another reason for using Pound Cake is that I can use "Egg Whites" to lower the Cholesterol content ...
