Three Layered Noodles Recipe
Ingredients
1 package (8 ounces) wide noodles
2 tablespoons cooking oil
2 cups smooth cottage cheese
2 cups dairy sour cream
2 tablespoons butter
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
3/4 cup finely chopped onion
3/4 pound ground-beef chuck
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Directions
Cook noodles according to package directions.
Drain, mix with oil and pour into buttered 2-quart casserole.
Mix cottage cheese and sour cream and pour over noodles.
Heat butter in skillet and cook garlic, onion, and beef until lightly browned.
Add tomato paste, bay leaf, salt and pepper and mix well.
Spoon over mixture in casserole.
Bake in a 350° F.oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
