Ingredients

 Sugar1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Water, 2 to 2 1/2 cups

Directions

In a sauce pan combine sugar and water.
Place on fire.
Stir till sugar dissolves.
Bring to a boil.
Let it boil for two minutes more on low fire.
Add a teaspoon milk or few grains citric acid to clarify syrup.
Remove from heat and strain.
