Directions

Boil arhar dal with turmeric and salt in a mud pot.
Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin and allow to crackel, add gr. Chillies, ginger and garlic, saute.
Add onion and saute till golden, add degi mirch, stir and add to the dal.
