Thick White Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
| Butter or other fat- 4 tablespoons | ||
| Flour | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
MAKING
1.When less butter than flour is used, then in a pot, heat 3/4 of the milk
2.Now mix remaining milk with flour to make a smooth paste and stir into hot milk
3.Then heat to boiling and cook until thickened, make sure to keep stirring constantly
4.Last, add butter or other fat and seasonings and cook for 3 minutes
SERVING
5.Serve with salmon, potato pancakes, crab or fish cakes
