 Onion slice1
 Egg yolks2
 Dry mustard1/2 Teaspoon
 Paprika1/4 Teaspoon
 Dried thyme1/8 Teaspoon
 Chervil1/8 Teaspoon, dried
 Summer savory1/8 Teaspoon, dried
 Dried marjoram1/8 Teaspoon
 1/4 teaspoon vegetable salt
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Vegetable oil11/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Cider vinegar3 Tablespoon

Directions

1. Put all the ingredients, with the exception of the oil and vinegar, in the container of an electric blender or food processor and blend or process until smooth.
2. While still blending or processing, add the oil, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the mixture thickens. When 1/2 cup of the oil has been used, add the vinegar. Add the remaining oil very slowly.
