Editors Review

Cooking different dishes for kids and elders can be daunting at times. So, Tina is making a kids recipe Tater Tot Casserole with Ground Beef for Nikko. It is very healthy and popular kids dish but even elders can enjoy it. Tina is talking about the cooking process while preparing the dish and that's something we have been looking forward to; for quite some time. As always she is putting together the dish with great confidence and ease.

I had no choice for years and had an electric stove top by Jennair. When they developed a proper fan for a down draft in an island we bought an 8 burner (includes flat griddle for 2 burners) Viking. It has a rising/lowering fan that runs the entire legnth of the stove top (48"). Gas is amazing for real cooking. It is such an instant control ofthe heat. If someone has a choice-gas is the way to go for sure. However electric ovens are considered by far better and accurate than their gas ounterparts. Most combination stoves made by GE Profile, Wolf, Viking, etc. have gas burners and electric ovens. Shanti/Mary-Anne
