The Glaze Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup (125 mL) honey
1 tbsp (15 mL) cider vinegar
1 tsp (5 mL) cornstarch
Grated rind of one orange
Juice of half an orange
Directions
€¢ Place all the ingredients in a 4-cup (1 L) microwave-safe measuring cup. Microwave 2 minutes at HIGH.
€¢ Stir and spread over the ham. Baste 5 or 6 times. Microwave 4 to 5 minutes at MEDIUM, basting the ham with the sauce 3 times during the cooking.
€¢ Remove from oven and continue basting 5 or 6 times.
