Ingredients
1 28-oz. can crushed tomatoes (or whole peeled tomatoes)
1 15-oz. can tomato sauce
1 6-oz. can tomato paste
1 can pitted large black olives
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cups pine nuts, lightly browned in olive oil
2 bay leaves
1 T. cinnamon
1 T. sugar
1 T. parsley
1 T. basil
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. freshly ground pepper
Directions
1. Assemble all of the ingredients in an 8 qt. sauce pan and simmer for 30 to 60 minutes until the flavors are blended and raisins are soft.
