The Dark Continent Recipe
Ingredients
| Lentils | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Millet | 1 Cup (16 tbs), cooked | |
| Onion | 1 Large, diced | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), pressed | |
| 1 t mineral salt | ||
| 1/2 t each: thyme, basil and cinnamon | ||
| Black pepper | 1/4 Tablespoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to 350°.
MAKING
2) In a saucepan, cook the lentils in boiling water until soft.
3) Drain water and mix the lentils with millet.
4) Combine other ingredients and mix thoroughly.
5) Use an oiled 9" x 5" loaf pan to pack the mixture.
6) Place inside oven and bake for 45 minutes.
SERVING
7) Serve the preparation by garnishing with fresh herbs.
