Thai Sweet and Sour Sauce Recipe
|Rice wine vinegar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Granulated sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Light brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Packed)|
|Red chilies||2 Tablespoon, seeds and ribs removed, finely chopped|
|Garlic||1 Teaspoon, minced|
|Fresh cilantro stems and roots||1 Teaspoon, strings removed and finely chopped|
|Cucumber||1 Cup (16 tbs), halved, seeded, and thinly sliced|
|Cilantro leaves||8 (For Garnish)|

1) In a saucepan, combine the vinegar, 1/2 cup water, both the sugars, chilies, salt, garlic, and chopped cilantro.
2) Cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring to dissolve the sugars.
3) Transfer to a bowl and let cool to room temperature.
4) Stir in the cucumber slices, garnish with the cilantro leaves, and serve immediately.
