Thai Steak & Rice Salad Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 lb (455 g) Chuck Blade or Top Sirloin Steak, grilled or broiled, cut into 2-inch slices
 
DRESSING:
 
1/2 cup (120 ml) seasoned rice wine vinegar
 
3 tbs (45 ml) olive oil
 
2 tbs (30 ml) soy sauce
 
1 tsp (5 ml) garlic powder
 
1/2 tsp (3 ml) ground ginger
 
1/2 tsp (3 ml) ground black pepper
 
2 tbs (30 ml) chopped fresh cilantro leaves
 
SALAD:
 
1 cup (240 ml) long-grain rice, cooked and cooled
 
1/2 cup (120 ml) chopped red bell pepper
 
1/4 cup (60 ml) thinly sliced green onion
 
1/4 cup (60 ml) shredded carrot
 
1 tbs (15 ml) toasted sesame seeds

Directions

In small bowl, combine dressing ingredients; set aside.
In large bowl, combine steak and salad ingredients.
Pour on dressing and toss to coat.
