Thai Marinated Steak Recipe

Ingredients
| 1 medium mild chili pepper, seeded and finely chopped | ||
| Finely chopped cilantro | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |

| 1 pound boneless sirloin steak or boneless top round steak | ||
Directions
1. In small mixing bowl combine all ingredients except steak and garnish and mix well.
2. In glass or stainless-steel mixing bowl arrange steak; add pepper mixture and turn to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or at least 1 hour.
3. Preheat broiler. Transfer steak to rack in broiling pan. reserving marinade. Broil 5 to 6 inches from heat source, basting with marinade mixture until medium-rare, 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until done to taste.
4. Thinly slice steak diagonally across the grain and arrange on plate; garnish each portion with a lime slice and cilantro sprig.
