Texas Sheet Cake Recipe
It doesn't take a gourmet to judge how appetizing and flavorful Texas Sheet Cake using this recipe turns out. I just love Dessert recipes and this dish is my only favorite amongst them. Don't rob yourself of the pleasure of having Texas Sheet Cake. Go and prepare it immediately.
Ingredients
Cake:
2 Cups Flour
2 Cups Sugar
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1 Cup Water
2 Cubes Margarine
4 Tbs. Cocoa
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
1 Tsp. Baking Soda
Frosting:
1 Cube Margarine
4 Tbs. Cocoa
6 Tbs. Milk
1 Box Powdered Sugar
1 Cup Chopped Nuts
Directions
Cake:
Sift together flour, sugar and salt; bring to a light boil the water, margarine and cocoa.
Add eggs, sour cream and baking soda.
Combine with the flour mixture and mix well.
Pour into a 10 1/2 x 18 x 1 inch cookie sheet and bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes.
Frosting: Bring to a light boil the margarine, cocoa and milk.
Remove from stove and add the powdered sugar and nuts.
Beat well and pour over cake as soon as it is removed from the oven.
