Texas Barbecued Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients
4 4-6 oz. center cut pork chops
1/2 T black pepper
1/2 c dark brown sugar
3/4 c ketchup
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1t chili powder nonfat cooking spray
Directions
Remove all visible fat from the chops.
In a small saucepan, combine the pepper, brown sugar, ketchup, onion, garlic and chili powder.
Simmer for 15 minutes until slightly thickened.
Lightly coat the grill with cooking spray and preheat for 5 minutes.
Place the chops in the grill and spoon 1 heaping tablespoon of sauce over each chop.
Grill the chops for 5-6 minutes, watching carefully to avoid burning the sauce.
Serve the cooked chops with the remaining warm sauce.
