Texas Tommies Recipe

8 slices bacon
4 frankfurters
1 slice American cheese, cut into thin strips
4 frankfurter rolls
Directions
Cook bacon between layers of paper towel in 12x8-inch dish at HIGH 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 minutes, or until partially cooked.
Meanwhile, make lengthwise slit in each frankfurter, leaving 1/2-inch uncut on each end; make an "X" cut in each end.
Stuff slit with cheese.
Wrap 2 slices of bacon around each frankfurter and secure with wooden toothpicks.
Discard paper towels from dish and arrange frankfurters in dish.
Cook at HIGH 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes, or until heated through.
Remove toothpicks and serve in split rolls.
