Texas Style Barbecued Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
| Salt | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Honey | 4 Tablespoon | |
| 1/2 c. catsup or chili sauce | ||
| Brown mustard | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 tsp. hickory smoked salt | ||
| Hot water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vinegar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salad oil | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm) | |
| 1 fryer, disjointed | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to a temperature of 350-degrees.
MAKING
2) In a saucepan, combine the salt, pepper, catsup, honey, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, smoked salt, water and vinegar. Mix well with a rotary beater and gradually beat in the oil. Cook the mixture, stirring constantly, till it has thickened.
3) Grease a shallow casserole and rub its sides with garlic. In a single lyer, place the chicken. Brush chicken with the sauce.
4) Bake in oven at a temperature of 350-degrees till the chicken is tender and cooked, basting occasionally with the sauce.

5) Serve hot.
